Goshen extends relocation deadline for those encamped on public property

GOSHEN, Ind. -- The City of Goshen is extending the relocation deadline for those encamped on public property along the Millrace.

The deadline is being moved to Monday, June 3.

The original deadline fell on a holiday weekend.

The relocation is part of a policy that addresses the concerns of residents and businesses who have expressed apprehension about illegal camping along the Millrace.

The City of Goshen said that this is not a long-term solution to homelessness in the community, but that efforts have been made to find sustainable solutions.

More information about those efforts can be found by visiting the City of Goshen’s website
