Goshen fights world hunger with turkey

GOSHEN, Ind. --Tuesday, more than 100 volunteers gathered in Goshen, to can 68,000 pounds of turkey with the goal of fighting world hunger.
Volunteers cut up the turkey and prepared more than 30,000 cans for canning.
Once the turkey was cubed and the cans were cleaned The Mobile Canning Center fills and seals the cans.
Jennifer Steiner, with The Mobile Canning Center said, "Knowing that they've made sacrifices to be there and donating what seems like a daunting amount of money, it's just a heartwarming thing."
This is the Fourteenth Annual Turkey Canning sponsored by The Mennonite Central Committee.
