Goshen High School student accused of having knife on school property
A Goshen High School student has been disciplined for allegedly taking a knife to school on Tuesday, according to Goshen Community Schools.
The 14-year-old student was found in possession of the knife on school property around noon, according to Goshen Police logs.
Steve Hope, the deputy superintendent for Goshen Schools, said the student had no intent to cause any harm.
A Goshen High School student alerted the school administration that there was another student who may have a knife. Goshen High School's School Resource Officer was notified immediately and assisted Goshen High School administration with the incident. The student was disciplined following the policy in the Goshen High School Student Handbook. The student had no intent to cause any harm.
