Goshen to test tornado siren Tuesday evening

GOSHEN, Ind. – A tornado siren test will be conducted Tuesday evening in Goshen with similar tests planned across Indiana as part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week.

The tests are part of state-wide efforts of the National Weather Service (NWS) to build a “weather ready nation” with a goal of educating people about the severity and hazards of weather.

The Goshen siren will sound at approximately 7:15 p.m.

Severe Weather Preparedness Week runs from March 17 to March 23.
