Governor Pence tours Michiana on Thursday

Indiana Governor Mike Pence is touring Michiana on Thursday, showing the rest of the state what Northern Indiana is doing right when it comes to creating jobs and boosting the economy.

Governor Pence delivered the keynote address on Thursday morning at the 2016 RV Industry Power Breakfast.

This is the fourth year that the RV Hall of Fame is hosting the power breakfast.

According to rvbusiness.com, it’s a chance to showcase the job-generating ability of the North American RV industry.

Here in Indiana one in five jobs is in manufacturing with the RV industry as the backbone.

Today is also an opportunity for RV leaders to prepare for the upcoming RV season.

Afterwards, Governor Pence made his way to Middlebury where he will break ground on Grand Design’s newest RV expansion which is expected to create up to 100 new jobs.

Governor Pence is also scheduled to be in South Bend around lunch time, Thursday afternoon,  to kick start a project  at the Renaissance district.
