Governor Snyder visits Berrien County days before election

Michigan is just one week away from election night, and one of the biggest races on the ballot is the governor's race.  Incumbent Rick Snyder is facing off against democrat Mark Schauer.

Snyder came to Lake Michigan College to address the Economic Club of Southwest Michigan, but it was not part of his campaign trail, or even endorsed by the club.

The governor wanted to take this opportunity to report on his business, and government solutions.

He was invited to speak to club members about economic and social issues in Michigan, even those hitting Benton Harbor.
