Governor to sign off on school voucher expansion

INDIANAPOLIS — Governor Mike Pence is expected to sign an expansion of the Indiana private school voucher program Thursday.

The plan will make more students eligible for the vouchers without having to spend at least one year in public schools. That includes those who live in districts with schools that received an F performance rating from he state.

Those against the voucher program say it will take more money from public schools.
