Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer held a press conference Monday morning to update residents on the state's response to COVID-19.
She said the state will be receiving 300 ventilators, 1.1 million surgical masks, 232,000 face shields and 2 million gloves from FEMA within the next 24-48 hours.
Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties will be receiving 1 million N95 masks. She said 80 percent of the state's COVID-19 cases are in those counties.
