Granger holds event to highlight local restaurants

Restaurants in Granger want you to come out and get a taste of some of the foods they have to offer.

Seventeen restaurants are participating in Granger Restaurant Week.

Organizers hope this event draws more crowds to some of Granger's established and up and coming restaurants. 

"Dining local is very important for our economy. All the money stays within our community and it's a wonderful thing to support local independent businesses that are out there creating unique menus for people," said restaurant week organizer Michele Scherpenberg. 

Granger Restaurant Week runs from Friday until next Saturday. All menus are either $15 or $30. Click here for more information.
