Granger photography studio abruptly closes
GRANGER, Ind.—A Granger photography studio has abruptly closed, according to a sign posted on the window.
The Portrait Innovations storefront in Granger’s Heritage Square appears empty and the company’s website and Facebook page are no longer active.
A sign on the window reads “closed for business permanently.”
A former employee of the Granger location who wanted to remain anonymous said that she was surprised by the abrupt closure.
The employee said that she was told without notice on December 31 that the store would be closing permanently.
According to the employee, she was told to leave any unfinished customer products and pictures near the store’s front counter before locking the doors for good.
Portrait Innovations Holding Company operates photography studios across the country that are now all listed as permanently closed online.
Many Facebook users have taken to the platform to air their grievances with the abrupt closures, with some people claiming they found out about the closure when they went to pick up their prints and found no one around.
The now-empty studio sits across the roundabout from the old Charming Charlie's store.
