Gravestones damaged in Plymouth crash

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. – Several gravestones were damaged on Monday in a one-vehicle crash, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department reported.

At 9:31 p.m., deputies were called to the 100 block of Iris Road and Lincoln Highway for reports of a one-vehicle crash.

The driver had left the roadway for unknown reasons, police said.

The vehicle traveled through a fence and ended up striking several gravestones in Hindel Cemetery, causing severe damage.

No injuries were reported in the crash.
