Great Britain predicts global bacon shortage

There’s some not so good news for lovers of the other white meat.

We’re currently under a pending bacon shortage. Great Britain’s National Pig Association is warning that a “world shortage of pork and bacon next year is now unavoidable."

The problem stems from this year's drought. Pig farmers are cutting back on herds because pig feed is so expensive.
