SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The Great Harvest Bread Company bakery and cafe is now open for business in Mishawaka.
The new store on University Drive offers a variety of baked goods, including sandwiches, salads, tea, and, of course, freshly made bread.
"Yesterday's opening went beyond our wildest expectations. We made more bread than we thought we needed, and we still ran out at 1 p.m." said Tony Floyd owner of Great Harvest in Michiana, "Then we had to bake another batch, and we had some more bread ready to go around 4 p.m. until closing. Community turnout has been fantastic. We're seeing a lot of happy faces, and we are eager to serve the Michiana area."
This grand opening served as a return to the Michiana area for the Great Harvest Bread Company.
