Greater Holy Temple Church hosting backpack giveaway

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Greater Holy Temple Church is hosting a backpack giveaway at the YMCA parking lot on Monday, August 3rd at 7 p.m.
The Great Holy Temple Church, along with 12 area community churches and sponsors, state that the goal is to pass out between 800-1000 free backpacks to school age children in the Michiana community.
Because of the ongoing COVID-19 health restrictions, this event will be a drive-thru only event at the YMCA at 1201 Northside Boulevard.
Additional donations of backpacks and school supplies are appreciated, according to a press release.
