Greatest Chefs of Michiana fundraiser kicks off

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- For $31 a child gets eight weeks of swimming lessons at the Y.M.C.A. of Michiana.

Starting Wednesday, for just $31 you can vote for local celebrity and local chef team's dish to help area kids participate in Y.M.C.A. programs.

It's "The Greatest Chefs of Michiana 2012" fundraiser.

Chefs and their celebrity partners revealed their dishes, Wednesday.

It all leads up to a special dinner later this month.

Nancy Sinnott, with the Y.M.C.A. of Michiana said, "Last year we had wonderful food. We've stepped it up a couple of notches this year and we have everything from duck to scallops and, oh let me think to Belgian meatballs. It's just going to be incredible."

ABC 57's Krista Fogelsong is teamed up with Fiddler's Hearth and they are making pan seared duck scotch pie.
