Moderate to heavy snow is possible today across Michiana. Snow will begin around noon, and will initially be heavy at times. A persistent breeze of 15 to 25 mph will accompany the higher snowfall rates early this afternoon, which could greatly reduce visibility. Travel this afternoon will be difficult across the area. Rain should mix with the snow this evening before precipitation changes completely to rain tonight. Snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are still expected for most of Michiana, with the bulk of the snow falling early in the afternoon.
The start of the work week still looks quiet and mostly cloudy with highs in the middle 30s. Another round of rain and snow is possible for Wednesday and the first part of Thursday before a cold Valentine’s Day comes our way.
Today: Mostly cloudy. Heavy snow possible in the afternoon. High of 35.
Tonight: Rain/snow in the evening, then light rain possible overnight. Low 30.
Monday: Mostly cloudy. High 35.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. High 34.
