Two words: "hot" and "humid." Those are likely the adjectives that will be describing Michiana from now until the end of the week. We'll wind down the weekend in the high 60s with mostly cloudy skies tonight. Monday kicks off a streak of high-heat days with highs expected to hang just under 90 in tandem with partly cloudy skies. From then on out, the majority of the week is mostly sunny with temperatures steadily climbing. Tuesday will feature similar high temperatures to Monday, sitting comfortably in the upper 80s with mostly sunny skies. Wednesday will likely be the second hottest/humid day of the week with temperatures in the low 90s, although when combined with humidity could produce heat index values close to the triple digits. Thursday will be the hottest day of the week in the mid 90s with excess humidity and the day most likely to come close to record-breaking heat.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 68.
Monday: Partly cloudy. High 89.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. High 89.
