As fall fun begins, fall weather nowhere in sight
Stay weather aware as we wrap up the weekend. Periods of heavy rain are likely this evening, and flooding could become a concern.
A flood watch is in effect for all of our Indiana counties, as we could pick up anywhere from 2-4” of rain by Monday.
This early morning is quiet, but be aware that you might find some frost on your car’s windshield to get the day started.
A few showers move into the area late this morning. Rain becomes steadier and more widespread this afternoon.
A few thunderstorms are possible this evening, which have a marginal severe threat. The primary impact of storms will be periods of heavy rain and gusty winds. While the flood watch does not include our Michigan counties, these areas still could see flooding concerns.
Areas along creeks, low lying spots, and some roadways may flood. Be cautious for your Monday morning drive that some roads may be closed due to flooding.
Out the door Monday, you’ll want the umbrella as rain continues through most of the day. Tuesday and Wednesday are quieter, with another round of rain Thursday and Friday.
Today: Rain. PM thunderstorms. High 52.
Tonight: Rain, thunderstorms, windy. Low 46.
Monday: Rainy and breezy. High 56.
