Stay weather aware Sunday, as moderate rainfall is expected, and strong storms are possible this afternoon.
Rainfall will increase throughout the day-- showers in the morning, steadier rain by afternoon, and possibly heavy rain this evening. Across Michiana, 1-3 inches of rain is likely now through early Monday morning. Some flooding is possible, especially in low level areas and near the lakeshore.
Some strong thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening. Gusty winds and hail will be concerns, although the primary concern Sunday will likely be heavy rain and flooding.
The work week starts soggy with more rain Monday and a few showers Tuesday. The rest of the week looks dry with some sunshine.
