Rain and thunderstorms will continue tonight across Michiana. Heavy rain is likely with these showers and storms, and most spots will pick up at least 2 inches of total rainfall by Monday evening. River and flash flooding is possible overnight as well. Temperatures will dip to near 60 degrees tonight.
Monday will be cloudy with occasional showers and a few downpours throughout the day. Temperatures will remain in the 60s. A few showers could stick around on Tuesday as well. Highs will be a bit cooler on Tuesday across Michiana. The second half of the work week looks mostly dry, but is also looking less sunny and a bit cooler than previous forecasts. Tropical Storm Arthur will cause an atmospheric back-up of low pressure systems, meaning our heavy rainmaker will sit over the eastern United States. That will keep the clouds close enough to keep our temperatures in the 60s Wednesday and near 70 Thursday.
The 80s are still trying to make an appearance for Memorial Day weekend. Another rainy pattern could set up across Michiana starting next Sunday and last through the middle of the following week.
Tonight: Rain continues, and will be heavy at times. Low 60.
Monday: Rain early, turning to lighter showers later. High 68.
Tuesday: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy. High 64.
Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy. High 68.
