FIRST WARNING NEIGHBORHOOD WX FORECAST
Friday, September 27th, 2019
Heavy rain and thunderstorms are set to continue into early Saturday morning. A few storms this evening into the early overnight hours could be strong to perhaps marginally severe with strong winds, lightning, and small hail. Even without any severe weather, heavy to torrential rainfall could lead to areas of flooding.
A few showers could linger into Saturday early afternoon, but most of the daytime hours will be quiet with highs in the low 70s. Sunday stays active with plenty of clouds, scattered showers and storms and highs in the lower 70s.
A surge of heat and humidity will kick off next week with highs in the upper 80s. It won’t last as a strong fall front will bring a round of rain Wednesday into Thursday. Behind that frontal boundary will be significantly cooler temperatures. Highs will be in the lower 60s and lows will be in the 40s by late next week and next weekend.
Tonight: Rain and thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong storm threat. Low of 64.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy, a few showers early. High of 72.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy, scattered showers and perhaps a storm. High of 72.
Monday: Partly cloudy, hot and humid. High of 86.
