Henry Davis, Jr. launches campaign to retain second district seat

Henry Davis, Jr says he plans to run as an independent in the next election for the 2nd District seat on the South Bend Common Council.
Davis has served the 2nd district as a democrat since 2007, but plans to run as an independent for the November 2015 election.
Davis believes the time is right for him to break from the party.
“I'm running as an independent because I believe the voters of the 2nd district deserve better than politics as usual.”
