Heroic efforts revealed from Indy home explosion

INDIANAPOLIS -- It has been two weeks since a deadly explosion in Indianapolis, and stories of the heroic efforts of people saving lives are still coming to light.

Michael Koerner, a high school junior, was driving home when he witnessed the deadly blast.

Moments after the explosion, the 17-year-old heard a teenage girl's cry for help. The girl was outside surrounded by debris from her home.

The teen said he saw her face illuminated by her phone as she was trying to dial 911. He rushed over to her and rescued her from the rubble.

His home was also damaged by the force of the explosion and is now set for demolition.
