NOW: High impact snowstorm moves in Saturday

ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Friday, November 28, 2025

Some sun did manage to peek out on Black Friday, melting some snow on roads and sidewalks. Tonight, the weather will be quiet, with cloudy skies and lows dipping into the 20s.

A high impact snowstorm will move through Michiana on Saturday, affecting travel into the afternoon and evening. Travel will likely become difficult after 12 pm Saturday, and heavy snow looks to continue area-wide throughout the rest of the day. System snow will wrap up Sunday morning, with some minor lake-effect taking over by Sunday afternoon. In total, six to nine inches of snow is a good bet for all of Michiana, with locally higher amounts likely east of I-94 and west of I-69. This is a snowstorm that you need to take seriously. Travel should start to improve by Sunday afternoon.

Snow should end Sunday night, with most of next week looking cold and mostly calm.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 22.
