ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.- Elm Road is closed between Madison Road and New Road due to high water, according to city officials.
The closure will remain through Tuesday until storm waters recede, according to the Department of Infrastructure, Planning, and Growth.
Officials advise using Madison Trail as an alternative route at this time.
Rain ?️ continues to impact our area.

Water is now covering Elm Road south of Madison Road.#DriveSafe and watch for flooded roads. Water may be deeper than expected if the road has washed out.#INwx pic.twitter.com/ipNF6Whm0A
