Holcomb orders flags to half-staff for employee who died from injuries at prison

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. - Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb orders flags to be flown at half-staff in La Porte County in honor of Michael Keel, the Indiana State Prison employee who died from injuries sustained while working at the prison.

Keel died a few days after an inmate at the prison allegedly struck him in the head with a steel pipe during an argument.

Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Thursday.
