Holiday lights display planned in Michigan City

Holiday cheer is set to spread in Michigan City.
The 24th annual Festival of Holiday Lights kicks off on Saturday, December 6th. A parade, horse and wagon rides as well as the official lighting ceremony are planned.
Events begin at 3:30 p.m. at Washington Park.
Traffic Note: the Franklin Street Bridge is closed.Follow this detour: Eastbound on Hwy 12, turn left onto Center Street (just over the bridge by Blue Chip Casino), follow Center Street (which turns into Krueger Ave) to Lake Shore Dr. Turn left onto Lake Shore Dr. then turn right into Washington Park.
