Home building jumped 12% in December

The Commerce Department says in just December alone, building increased 12 percent from the month before.
Builders broke ground on nearly 800,000 homes last year.
It is the most homes built since the housing market collapse in 2008.
Builders are optimistic with a boost in home sales largely due to record low mortgage rates.
