Home prices rise for first time in 7 months

Some good news in the housing market, new report shows home prices rose in April.

That's the first time in seven months. Prices were up in 20 major markets. Still, the report found prices are down by nearly 2 percent.

That's when compared to last year.

Government data for May, showed new homes sales were also up and mortgage rates hit record lows, last week.
