Homeland Security conducts ride inspections at Indiana State Fair

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indiana Department of Homeland Security wrapped up final ride inspections at the state fair just in time.

The Indiana State Fair starts on Friday in Indianapolis. It will run for two weeks.

Thousands of fairgoers are expected to attend.

Homeland Security is checking for any potential safety issues. This is the first time for the inspections.
