Homeowner reunited with dog following Mishawaka fire

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Fire crews responded to a fire which erupted in the 2700 block of N. Main Street Tuesday evening.

According to dispatch, the call came in around 8:05 p.m. 

Firefighters are on scene battling the fire which shut down North Main Street.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area.

According to the department, a homeowner has been reunited with her dog following a sweep of the structure.

There are no reported injuries, according to dispatch.
