SOUTH BEND, Ind.——
Many homeowners across Michiana, are concerned about the flooding that could occur when the remaining snow from Friday melts. Especially, in the the Jewell Woods Neighborhood in South Bend that is no stranger to flooding.
Most neighbors told ABC57 they are not worried this time around after the devastating flooding they endured in 2016 and 2018.
However, one who knows the damage the over flow of The Phillip Ditch is capable of. Are still concerned. One neighbor whose house was damaged in the floods, had his rainboots ready to go when taking his dig out Saturday afternoon.
So far no known damage has been reported to homes, but there is already an access of standing water in the area.
