Homeowners who lost homes to foreclosure being sent notices

The Michigan Attorney General says about 148,000 mortgage customers who lost their homes to foreclosure are being sent claim forms as part of a $25 billion national settlement.

That settlement stems from complaints about improper conduct by lenders.

Those eligible to share in the settlement would have had to lose their homes between 2008 to 2011.
