MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Horses for Hope heading to one Mishawaka senior center today to spread happiness.
Today at Creekside Village in Mishawaka, Horses for hope gave residents some interaction they have been missing out on during the pandemic.
“We call them horses of hope. They bring some relief to our residents and our staff. Our staff are essential workers, the horses have become essential workers because they love seeing the smiles,” said Board member, American Senior Communities, Wes Jackson.
The residents got to go outside in small groups to pet and interact with all those horses.
