Another round of scattered showers and storms is on the way in this morning. A few stronger storms are possible with gusty winds and heavy rain. There is a break from around midday with highs heating near 90 degrees! The very humid conditions will push the heat index up to 95-100 degrees. It’s very important to drink plenty of water and take breaks from the heat.
Another round of storms develops this evening, some of which could be strong to severe. More scattered showers and storms move through the region Friday and Saturday which may lead to flooding issues. The heaviest rain is expected Friday night into Saturday morning.

Tonight: Few storms early, low of 72.
Friday: Very humid, scattered storms, high 90.
Saturday: Very humid, scattered storms, highs in the mid-80s.
