ELKHART, Ind. -- Single car crash leaves two people injured.

Just around 1:58 a.m. a 1999 Jeep Wrangler was approaching Old C.R. 17 and drove off C.R. 45 hitting a tree.

The driver identified as 42-year-old Amanda Jones was taken by helicopter to the South Bend Memorial Hospital for her sustained injuries.

Her only passenger 54-year-old James Martin was transported by ambulance to the Elkhart General Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

This is an ongoing investigation.
