Hot dog eaters look to obtain coveted Nathan's Mustard Belt

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- New Yorkers are gearing up for Nathan's famous July Fourth International Hot Dog Eating Competition.

The 10-minute, all-you-can-eat contest will feature nearly 30 contestants.

Five-time champ and favorite Joey "Jaws" Chestnut of San Jose, California will try to defend his Mustard Belt title.

Men and women will compete separately for the title of "Hot Dog Eating World Champion." They'll also get a $20,000 cash prize.

Nearly $40,000 people are expected to show up on Coney Island for the food eating tradition.
