FIRST WARNING NEIGHBORHOOD WX FORECAST
Monday, September 9th, 2019
The heat is on for the next 3 days as highs soar into the upper 80s. High humidity will make it feel like it’s in the 90s. There will be a mix of sun and clouds each afternoon with a 30-40% chance of showers and thunderstorms at just about any point between Tuesday morning and Friday afternoon. It’s one of those patterns where predicting the absolute best chance of rain and storm activity is quite difficult.
No one day will be a rainout, and there will be plenty of dry time. The best chance of showers and storms at this point looks to be thru the first half of Friday along a potent cold front. That front will drop highs below 80° both Friday and Saturday.
It doesn’t last, though, as highs warm back up well into the 80s by Sunday and into next week. Summer-like weather is here for the foreseeable future as it looks now.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low of 65.
Tuesday: Partly to mostly cloudy, humid, isolated showers/storms. High of 89.
Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy, humid, scattered showers/storms. High of 87.
Thursday: Partly to mostly cloudy, humid, isolated showers/storms possible. High of 87.
