Temperatures and humidity rise Tuesday ahead of a cold front that will bring showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night through Wednesday. The primary threat will be heavy rain, and localized flooding. Gusty wind and hail are also possible, but secondary to the heavy rain potential. Wednesday is a likely rain day, with at least two rounds of showers and storms, morning and evening. The pattern remains somewhat unsettled with the now juiced soil and atmosphere to produce pop-up showers Thursday and Friday, but widespread showers / storms are likely again Friday night through Saturday morning.
The overall severe threat is low, but warnings are possible this week. Keep up to date on the First Warning Mobile Weather App.
