PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich.— A dash cam caught the moment an explosion occurred at a house fire near Grand Rapids, Michigan over the weekend.
Firefighters were called to a home on Pleasant Creek Ave. for a fire on July 3, just before 5 a.m., according to the Plainfield Township Fire Department.
All occupants made it out of the home and no one was injured, reports said.
Shortly after emergency crews arrived on scene, a large explosion occurred and caused the fire to “rapidly spread” throughout the home.
The homeowner told firefighters that there was a 100-pound propane tank in the garage.
It took over an hour for firefighters to get the fire under control.
