House fire blocks several roads in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — Several roads are blocked off near Michigan Street near the Family Dollar store after fire crews responded to a house fire in South Bend.
The fire started around 5 a.m. Wednesday morning.
Two adjacent homes had to be evacuated as a safety precaution.
Firefighters tell ABC57 that they believe the house was vacant.
They also say that roads were expected to be blocked off for a couple of hours while crews continue to work.
