One dead in South Bend house fire Thursday morning

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – One person has died in a house fire on Thursday morning, the South Bend Fire Department reported.
A neighbor called in at 10:57 a.m. to report the fire in the 200 block of N. Kenmore Street in South Bend.
When crews arrived on scene, they saw heavy smoke and fire on the front side of the residence.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
