House GOP elects new leadership

Congressman Eric Cantor is stepping down from his number two house republican leadership job after losing his Virginia primary race to political a newcomer.
California Republican Kevin McCarthy, the 3rd-ranking house GOP leader, ascended to the house majority leader spot.
