House on US12 damaged by fire

Four area fire departments battled a house fire just east of Union, Michigan Wednesday afternoon.
Flames were seen coming from a home in the 13900 block of US 12 just before 4 p.m.
No one was home at the time and no injuries were reported.
Fire officials said there was damage to the utility room but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
