HPV cancer prevention is main focus for forum on Thursday

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.- The St. Joseph County Department of Health is presenting updates on cancer prevention efforts at the HPV Forum Thursday, April 20.

Among the speakers is Jason Mendelsohn, aka Superman HPV, who will discuss his experience with HPV-associated tonsil cancer and share his mission in preventing oral health issues as they relate to HPV.

The role dental health professionals play in preventing HPV-related cancers will also be covered.

Admission is free and interested attendees are encouraged to reserve a spot in advance.

The event is from 6-8 p.m. at the IU School of Medicine in South Bend's Raclin Auditorium located at 1234 Notre Dame Ave. in South Bend.
