INDIANAPOLIS — Hundreds gathered in Indianapolis Wednesday to remember former Indiana governor Otis Bowen.
The memorial was held at the statehouse rotunda.
Governor Mike Pence says the state owes a large debt to the 44th governor.
Bowen was the first governor since 1851 to serve two consecutive terms in office.
He died last Saturday. Bowen was 95.
