Hundreds gather to honor Junior Seau
SAN DIEGO, Calif.-- Hundreds of people gathered to take part in a memorial "Paddle Out" to honor Junior Seau.
The event took place in front of Seau's ocean-side home.
There were many lives that the football player touched, whether directly or indirectly.
For his former San Diego teammates, Drew Brees, it was directly.
Brees said, "There's clapping, splashing, chanting his name, just feeling like he was present. I'm not sure if there was a guy that's more beloved, a sports figure that's more beloved in a community than Junior Seau."
His legend will live on, and his footprints in San Diego won't be washed away.
