I&M working to restore power outages from Saturday's wind storm

Indiana Michigan Power crews continued making repairs Sunday after a wind storm moved through the area Saturday.

At the peak, approximately 17,000 customers were without power, according to I&M.

As of Sunday evening, 85% of customers were restored and crews were working to restore service to about 2,800 customers.

Allen County had about 400 customers without power Sunday while Blackford and Madison County had about 200 in each county without power by Sunday evening.

Delaware County had the most customers without power at 2,000.

Jay County, LaPorte County and St. Joseph County were all restored by Sunday.

I&M says the estimated service restoration times for Allen, Randolph, and Blackford Counties are by midnight Sunday.

Delaware and Madison Counties are expected to be fully restored by April 4th at midnight.
