ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Monday, January 22, 2024
Roads and sidewalks could be slick tonight as freezing rain continues across Michiana. Use extreme caution when traveling, both tonight and early tomorrow morning. Because of our deep snowpack, we have to wait until temperatures reach the upper 30s to see our threat of ice subside. That should happen Tuesday afternoon for most. Tomorrow's evening commute could be foggy with showers also possible. The weather should calm down a bit by Wednesday, with regular rain showers and highs near 40. Rain is also possible on Thursday, but we should be dry this weekend. Clouds will be stubborn with all the melting snow. Temperatures will be close to 40 degrees as the melt continues into next week.
Tonight: Freezing rain/drizzle likely. Icy roads possible. Low 29.
Tomorrow: Freezing rain to rain. Icy roads possible in the morning. Fog possible late. High 36.
Wednesday: Rain showers. High 39.
