IHSAA announces changes for six class tournament

INDIANAPOLIS -- On Friday, the Indiana High School Athletic Association announced that the state will move to a six class football tournament, starting next year.

Here's how the new format works: The 5-A Class will split based on enrollment.

Then, each team in 6-A and 5-A would have a "bye-week" to start the state tournament.
